Privacy policy
Effective October 12, 2026
This policy covers the apps Which & Why: AP Calculus and Which & Why Physics (the apps) and this website. They are made by Wemazi LLC (we).
The short version
The apps collect no personal information. They have no accounts, no ads and no tracking, and they do not send your answers or progress to us. This website counts visits with Cloudflare Web Analytics, without cookies, to see which pages help.
Your progress
Your answers, progress, badges and settings are stored on your device. If you are signed in to iCloud, the apps also keep them in your private iCloud storage so your devices stay in step. That copy belongs to your Apple Account; we cannot see or read it. Apple's privacy policy covers iCloud.
Purchases
Purchases are made through the App Store. Apple handles payment; we never receive your name, email address or payment details.
Crash reports
If you choose to share analytics with app developers in your device settings, Apple may send us crash reports and usage statistics without information that identifies you. We use them only to fix problems.
If you email us, we use your email address and message only to reply, and we keep them only as long as we need to help you.
This website
This website uses Cloudflare Web Analytics to count visits and to see which pages people read. It sets no cookies and stores nothing on your device to recognize you.
When you open a page, Cloudflare receives the page address, the page that linked to it, your browser and device type, and your country. It also measures how fast the page loaded. It does not use your IP address to follow you from visit to visit. We see only totals, never who you are, and we do not use the data for advertising. Cloudflare's privacy policy covers how Cloudflare handles it.
Analytics does not run when you open a page from the apps. It also does not run when your browser sends a Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track signal.
Like any website host, our hosting provider may keep standard request logs, such as IP addresses, for security.
Children
The apps and this website are made for high school students. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children under 13.
Changes
If this policy changes, we will post the new version here with a new effective date.
